A Fortune of LUV
Paula and I went to our favorite restaurant, Sukothai, and ate dinner. When the fortune cookies
came, Paula opened hers and found, to her utmost suprise, a shiny diamond ring and a fortune that
said "Will You Marry Me?"
Paula, as you may have guessed, freaked out. She kept chanting "Is this real? Is this real? How
did you do this?" The waitress, who was just as surprised as Paula, made me get down on my knee and
say it out loud. So I got down, took her hand in mine and asked: "Paula, will you marry me?" She
immediately replied: "Yes, yes! Oh my god!"
And that was that.
